Join Our Excellence In Literacy Programme & Help Improve Literacy Together

Access to the Excellence in Literacy self-evaluation framework is free to all schools and can be downloaded at the bottom of this page.

Accreditation and verification of the award of the Excellence in Literacy quality mark involves a desktop review of the school’s self-evaluation and a visit to the school, followed by a final report to the accrediting panel and the school.

  • Small schools (up to 100 pupils) – £1080
  • Medium sized schools (100-300 pupils) –  £1140
  • Large schools ( over 300 pupils) – £1200

Optional purchase of the Excellence in Literacy wall plaque – £80 including packing and postage.

Schools registering for the Excellence in Literacy Quality Mark will automatically become members of our network.
